Why I resent Celeb authors, publishers & literary agents...

To paraphrase Janis Joplin's Mercedes song lyrics...

Oh Lord, won't you get me a Publishing Deal?

Our celebrity authors all have published books, I must make amends

Worked hard at my writing, no help from literary agents

So Lord, won't you get me a Publishing deal?

Take a look at your local supermarket bookshelves and what do you see? A Celeb book bonanza. Pardon me if I'm ever so slightly cynical about books written by celebs. Maybe if I was a celeb, literary agents and publishers might take me more seriously. Anyone care to make me a celeb? No? I thought not.

Well, at least my reviews are genuine and not paid for by the publishers.
